How to Use This Site

Before you begin to use the 121prodata site please take a few moments to learn how to get the most from your visit.

The basics
The 121 prodata site allows client companies with a registered user to submit lists of numbers for checking against the TPS and/or CTPS. To get started and clean your first list you will need to:

  • Register as a user
  • Calculate the cost of cleansing for your particular list
  • Complete an order confirmation
  • Have user credit applied to your account
  • Prepare and submit your list

Registration
The registration process is simple and can be reached by following the registration link from the home page. Client company and individual user information is collected and an email is sent with password and user name conformation. Once you have this, return to the site and follow the login link to the member’s area. There are a number of things that can be done from within the member’s area and we will return to these later.

Calculate your cleaning costs
Follow the link to the pricing calculator from the home page where you will find a full description of how the 121prodata fees are calculated. Open the link to the calculator itself and you will receive an instant quote on line.

Order Confirmation
Once you know the costs you are in a position to complete an order confirmation form which you will find by following the link to the Document download area. If you are preparing to use the system on a regular basis you will also find a standing order mandate. Print and complete both of these forms and send them to 121prodata to open your credit account. We will need you to send us the originals but to get things moving emailed or faxed copies can be sent.

Obtaining User Credit
Most 121prodata clients need to start work straight away and cannot wait for the paperwork to open their account and apply user credits. You may telephone on 020 8421 9103 and purchase immediate credit with Switch, Visa, or MasterCard. When credit has been applied to your account you will receive an email in confirmation.

Preparing and submitting your list
Prepare your list by extracting the telephone numbers only from your database and saving them in either a .txt or .csv file format. Follow the file preparation guidelines carefully and pay particular attention to ensuring that the numbers in your list:

  • Are the full area code and telephone number
  • Have a leading zero as the first character
  • Do not have an international dialing codes prefix
  • Do not have extension numbers appended

Log in to your user account and take the link for a new data comparison. Use the browse button to locate the .txt or .csv file on your system, add a personal reference for this particular job if you wish and click the task bar to upload.

The results will be available in your comparison history within a few moments and a results email will be received in your inbox within a few minutes.

Dealing with the results
The results email that the system generates will be delivered to your inbox within minutes of you completing the cleaning process. The body of the mail will include a report of the number of records processed and a list of all of the numbers that match to register and therefore must not be called. It will also have your personal reference to help you manage your files and a 121prodata job reference which you will need to quote if you have any issues with the cleanse. 121 prodata recommend that you store your results emails for a minimum of six months.

In addition there are two attachments to the mail. The first is your file as you submitted it to the site. The second is the cleaned list. The cleaned list has all of your numbers, in the original order and with the listed numbers highlighted by prefixing with *TPSLISTED*. The cleaned list can be pasted straight back into the original database and the numbers will all fall back in the original alignment with the rest of the prospect details.

Clients that are using manual dialing must instruct call agents not call any number that is prefixed *TPSLISTED*. Clients with automated dialing facilities must configure their dialer to ignore these prefixed entries.

Member’s area
Within the member’s area there are a number of facilities for the user.

  • New data comparison
  • Credit status
  • Purchase Credits
  • Comparison history
  • Membership details

New data comparison - Allows the user to submit a list of numbers for checking. Follow the instructions in “preparing and submitting your list” above.
Credit status - Allows you to check how much credit remains on your account
Purchase Credit - Complete the order form and submit it on line to top up your account.
Comparison history - A minimum of 3 months of cleansing history is retained on the system for you to review as needed.
Membership details - From this page you can amend the details of your account. The only restriction is the email address for the delivery of results. This cannot be changed by the user and amendments to this field require a request from the original email address to 121prodata. This is a fraud prevention measure.
